Dear Mike and Family….
Vi was long life friend of mine. We grew up on Green Valley and had many happy times together. Remained friends throughout our 85 years. I was the one that introduced her to your father – Wayne. I have lost a good friends and buddy. Margaret
We are so sorry for the loss of Aunt Vi. Our prayers and thoughts are with all who knew and loved her.
Vi and I worked for The tax office together, and although she retired several years before me,we kept in touch, and had some fun vacations at the beach. I will miss her happy laughter, but am glad she is no longer suffering.
Hey Mike, Meg, Mollie and Jessica,
I was so sorry to hear about your Mother/Grandmother’s passing and wanted you all to know you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Mike,
I have had you in my prayers all week and I am glad you were able to be with your Mom during this time. She loved you sooooo much and she was proud to call you her son.
Girls,
Vi loved all of you as well. She loved telling stories about when you were younger and went to visit. She was proud to call you her ‘grands!’
It is very difficult to loose a loved one but we know she is at peace and no longer suffering. God promises to comfort our hearts during sad times and I know he will for all of you.
Love,
Karen
Aunt Vi held a special place in my heart. She was always so sweet and so funny; I always looked forward to seeing her and enjoyed our talks and laughs. I regret not spending more time with her, she will truly be missed.
If you have ever been blessed to have an aunt with a wonderful sense of humor, caring, and always-there-for-you, then you know how much I am going to miss my Aunt Vi. She and I had so many happy times through the years that I will cherish always. Love to Mike and family.
