Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Melissa, Johnny and Family: My fondest memories are of growing up on Green Valley Road. Virginia and Gwyn were great neighbors and close friends of my family. Virginia was a wonderful person and will surely be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

  2. For what is the land without the people? It is the people who make the land. I am sure my dad and I must have met her and her husband in my years of growing up in the hayes cove. God has claimed his faithful servant, loving person, and who are we, but to labor on and wait until one day we see her again in Heaven. Rest in peace sweet lady, your generation is what this country was builded on. Bob Lester (son of Roy Lester). I graduaded from Leicester High in 61.

  3. Virgina & Gwen were a large part of my growing and the person I turned out to be. We worked on the farm(George & Geraldean Russ) They were so good to all of us I went by there when I moved back to NC just to say Hello and no one was there. So to all the Family and Friends I can’t tell you how much I regret not being able to tell the two of them the difference they made in my life I hope they know.I hope that all of you know how special they were.My God be with you all!
