Virginia R. 'Ginger' Wells

A native of Detroit, MI, she was the daughter of the late Beuford and Nora Sellars Robison and was a member of Newfound Baptist Church.

A loving wife and mother, she is survived by her husband, James O. Wells;  a daughter, Billie Ray of Asheville;  a son, Dr. Gary Wells and his wife Anne of Seneca, SC;  a sister, Kathryn Worley of Asheville;  a brother, Joe Robison of Atlanta;  a grandson, Jimmy Wells, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Friday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Revs. Mark Ball and Charles Phillips officiating.  Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

Her family will receive friends from 7 - 8:30 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
