Virginia Ray Kanupp

A native of Haywood County, Mrs. Kanupp was a daughter of the late Ethel Revis Ray and Ambers Ray.
Survivors include her husband Boyce Ray Kanupp; three sons, Danny Kanupp of Savannah, GA, Mike Kanupp of Edneyville and Jeff Kanupp of Skyland; two sisters, Wanda Gilsdorf of Arden and Peggy Lunsford of Weaverville; three grandchildren, Mack, Katelyn and Marshall Kanupp and one step-grandson, Kenneth Meeks.
A funeral service will be conducted Sunday at 3:30 PM in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian on Long Shoals Road with Rev. Jim Stroupe officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 7:00-8:30 PM at the funeral home.
