Vivian Teague Vernon, 76, of Hendersonville, passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2016, at her residence.
A native of Madison Co., Vivian was a daughter of the late Ralph Teague and Pearl Grooms Teague Lunsford.
Mrs. Vernon worked for many years as a registered nurse, retiring from Pardee Hospital.
She is survived by her son, Robert Bugg and wife Karla; sisters, Treva Redmon and husband Gene, and Joy Askew and husband Eddy; brother, Robert Teague and wife Hoa Lee; grandchildren, Karson Bugg, Karleigh Bugg, Brittany Fortner, Kristen Brookshire, and James Bugg; and several great-grandchildren.
A private memorial service will be held for the family.

Vivian was a wonderful mentor to me as a scrub tech and freshly graduated nurse. She would babysit for me when I needed help. She will always be dear to me. Loved her very much We lost contact when I moved to Texas in the 80’s
Robert, Treva, and Joy surprised and saddened to learn of the loss of Vivian—–my dearest friend since1968.
