Vivian Teague Vernon, 76, of Hendersonville, passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2016, at her residence. A native of Madison Co., Vivian was a daughter of the late Ralph Teague and Pearl Grooms Teague Lunsford. Mrs. Vernon worked for many years as a registered nurse, retiring from Pardee Hospital. She is survived by her son, Robert Bugg and wife Karla; sisters, Treva Redmon and husband Gene, and Joy Askew and husband Eddy; brother, Robert Teague and wife Hoa Lee; grandchildren, Karson Bugg, Karleigh Bugg, Brittany Fortner, Kristen Brookshire, and James Bugg; and several great-grandchildren. A private memorial service will be held for the family. In lieu of flowers, Mrs. Vernon's family asks that memorials be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312 or online at www.diabetes.org. Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave. is assisting the family.

  5. Vivian was a wonderful mentor to me as a scrub tech and freshly graduated nurse. She would babysit for me when I needed help. She will always be dear to me. Loved her very much We lost contact when I moved to Texas in the 80’s
