  9. I was a friend of Vorrest during the 1959-60 freshman year I was at Mars Hill College. Vorrest was a great athlete and fun to be with.

  10. I found this while searching for an obituary for his brother Terry. I was Terry’s first wife and Mother of Amy and Chad Gorman. Terry passed away a few weeks ago in North Carolina after a long illness. I believe Amy at least tries to keep up with Melody. My hope is you are doing well! I have no idea if you will find this after so many years, but see some old rather old and have hope. Sharon Gorman. Fulshear Texas

  11. Sharon, I am so sorry to hear of Terry’s death. Thank you for letting us know.
Melody is always in “Ancestry” so she happened to be reviewing her Dad’s obit and saw this. My email is gorman.maria@yahoo.com if you want to contact me. Thank you for the letter you sent when my husband passed. So sorry and praying for you all. Thought you might check this site to see if we found your msg.
    Maria Gorman. July 21 2024
