I WORKED WITH WALT AT BALL FOR 30 YEARS. HE WAS A WONDERFUL MAN AND WILL BE STRONGLY MISSED. MY HEART GOES OUT TO HIS FAMILY.
MY HEARTFELT SYMPATHY TO THE FAMILY.
Dear Grandad,
I wish circumstances were different during your time of passing. The pass few years I had the honor of knowing you and I guess being somewhat related have been the best years of my life.
All of my family sends there love, and will all truly miss you.
Good Bye Old Buddy…. I Love You…
Charlie & I were out of town and did not hear of Walter’s passing until today (Tuesday the 14th).
We both met Walter at Ball Corp. and when we married I had to quit, but Charlie worked with Walter until his retirement. We visited Walter a couple of times to look at his animals and Charlie & Walter called one another occasionally.
Walter was one of the sweetest men I ever met. He had a smile for everyone and sometimes you could tell mischief was in the air by his grin.
Walter will be greatly missed. Undoubtedly the Lord is gathering in his roses.
Sincere condolences to the family.
Charlie & Lorraine Thomas
I am very sorry to hear of your loss, Paul. I know this is a difficult time but time does heal our wounds and then you will again be able to remember and cherish the wonderful memories of your father. I’m not sure if your mother will remember but she and my mother bowled together many years ago, Nita Quinn. In any event, mother sends her sympathy for your loss.
