Walter Philip Hugle

Asheville ~ Walter Philip Hugle, passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at John F. Keever Hospice Solace Center. He was born in New York City and was the son of the late Walter and Edith Zimmerman Hugle. He was preceded in death by a son, John Hugle, who died in 1983. Mr. Hugle was a US Navy Veteran serving as a Seabee in WW II and worked for Bulova Watch Company for many years. He was a member of St. Barnabas Ca-tholic Church. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Elizabeth Ryan Hugle of Asheville; two daughters, Janet Zufall of Carlsbad, CA and Theresa Heusel of Winter Park, FL; and five grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM Friday at St. Barnabas Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Calvary Episcopal Churchyard. A Rosary will be said at 6:30 PM on Thursday at Gro-ce Funeral Home at Lake Julian on Long Shoals Road with the family receiving friends following the service.
