Wanda Jane "Tina" Taylor Mashburn, 64, of 395 School Road East, Asheville, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 25, 2008, at her home.
A native of Buncombe County, she was a daughter of the late Albert Leo and Ruby Artensey Lamb Taylor. She was a graduate of A.C. Reynolds High School.
Survivors include her husband, Ronnie R. Mashburn; children, Rhonda M. Walter and husband, Mike, and Scott D. Mashburn all of Asheville; a sister, Donna Mashburn and husband, Bud, of Asheville; five brothers, Mitchell and Donna Taylor, Ronnie and Sandra Taylor, Ricky and Geri Taylor, all of Asheville, Gene and Robbie Taylor of Fairview and James Taylor of Weaverville. Granny T is also survived by her four grandchildren, Michael Scott Mashburn, Summer Mashburn, Zack Walter, Zeb Walter and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 12:00 pm Monday at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery chapel with the Rev. Kenneth Mashburn officiating.
Her family will receive friends from 2:00-5:00 pm Saturday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Care Partners Hospice, PO Box 25388, Asheville, NC 28813.
We will miss Aunt Tina.
We will miss Aunt Tina (Granny T). She always had a treat for the kids and would cheer them on whether it was the backyard or the ballfield.
We will miss you Granny T. You are in a much better place but will be missed here. You all are in our thoughts and prayers.

Just happen to be looking in here and seen that Granny T has passed. Scott, I only met her one time and she was one funny lady. I wish you and your family my condolences.
