Willard ''Buddy'' Vasco Robinson, Jr.

Mr. Robinson was a lifelong native of Henderson County, and was a son of the late Willard Vasco Robinson, Sr. and Mabel Gardner Robinson. He was a machine operator with Day International for 10 years.
Surviving is his wife Susie Brown of Mills River; one daughter, Monica Fowler and her husband Charley of Flat Rock; one step daughter, Shelby Brown of Weaverville; two sisters, Joyce Oliver and her husband Stuart of Lake Havasu City, Arizona and Frances Martiney of San Bernadino, California; one brother, Herb Robinson and his wife, Judi of Galloway, Ohio; one granddaughter, Anna-Marie Fowler; he is also survived by a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, at the Chapel of Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian, with the Rev. Charles Waldrup officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Hendersonville.
The family will receive friends one hour before the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 50 S. French Broad Ave., Asheville, NC 28801.

So sorry for your loss.I (Deb) went to school with Willard & my husband worked with him years ago.I high school Willard drove 2 school & all of us would pile in the car & it would almost drag the ground.Those were the good ole days.I could write lots more but would run out of room. DEBBIE
