William B. Crisp, 99 of 5 Came Sharpe Rd., Leicester, went to be with the Lord Sunday, August 19, 2001 at the Hospice Solace Center.
A native of Swain County, he was the son of the late Jasper and Laura Kirkland Crisp. Mr. Crisp was a retired tobacco farmer and attended Western
Chapel UMC and Newfound Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Bell Sutton Crisp; two daughters, Vivian Fulton of Leicester, Opal Cudd of Barnardsville; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Luada Cemetery in Bryson City. Rev. Charles Phillips will officiate.
His family will receive friends 7-8:30 Monday at Groce Funeral Home, Patton Avenue.
