  1. So sorry I did not know of Bills passing untill last Thursday night at Mrs.Hyatts and I was and am so sorry to hear this news.I enjoyed talking with Bill when he would be at the Thursday night jam sessions at the Hyatt Opry House. He was a fine gentleman and I for one will miss him.

  2. Shope will be very much missed by many people including myself. He took a lot of time and patience helping me as a young teenager get my Ham radio license and set up my radio. He went home and got on his radio and was my first QSL contact. Year after year I would see him at the Shelby hamfest and other local events. Everytime I touch a radio I will think of the difference he made in my life.

  3. It’s a shame that we seem to only communicate with each other when someone passes away. Our thoughts are with all of you. We’re still living in Paw’s house on Bradshaw Circle. You are welcome at any time. Your cousin, Tena and family

  4. My grandmother and family have been extremely blessed for the time we had Bill apart of our lives. My best memory is our Christmas parties that he loved so much. They always brought tears of joy to his eyes. We love you Mamaw!
