William Clay Ferguson, Jr.

I met Bill Jr. when he was just a few hours old and new Mother Sandy was already fretting over where he would move once he grew up and had a family of his own. He turned my Uncle Bill and Aunt Sandy into a busy family, joining Mike and preceding Janet and David. He was a fun-loving little boy who grew into a kind, gentle and quiet man. He kept meticulous scrapbooks about his beloved University of Oklahoma Sooners. If I recall correctly, he never missed pasting clips that featured Steve Davis. I will miss him, but I know that Grannie Byrd and Aunts Jenny and Chloe — and especially his doting father — are thrilled to be reunited with him. Also Fritz, the world’s oldest Dachshund. We will carry on without you, Billy, but it just won’t be the same.
