  6. William will always hold a special place in our hearts. In addition to attending church together,he was in our home for weekly bible studies for many years . His love for Jesus was always open and honest. Since moving to Guatemala, we were unable to attend his memorial service. Please know that our prayers and thoughts were in that service. Much love in Christ —

  7. Alice and Bill, I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your son. Please know that I am praying for you at this difficult time.

  8. I knew William through church several years ago. He was one of my favorite people, always kind, helpful, generous to those in need, a real friend. My kids and I loved to go eat at his little diner he used to have…It was great food and a fun wholesome atmosphere. Many of us are shocked, saddened, grieved. May God comfort all of his family.

  9. Dear Bill,
We are thinking of you and your entire family–we cannot imagine the sadness you all are experiencing over this sudden loss. We wish our words and thoughts might bring you some peace and comfort; if only for a moment. So please know that we are thinking of you and appreciating your hearty laugh and genuine kindness and realizing how much we take for granted every day, without knowing how fortunate we are. Please all of you try to take care and love and support each other. We are truly sorry for your loss.

  10. To all of William’s family.
It will definitely be difficult to stop and remember that William is no longer among us. He was just one of those people who you expected to run into somewhere, sometime around Asheville, wearing the warm smile we were all accustomed to. I’m so sad for all of you, his family and friends, for your loss. I look forward to seeing him again in Heaven some day! With love and condolences, Bonnie Livernois

  13. I was very sorry and sad to hear about William. I remember him when the family first moved here and have seen him from time to time over the years riding motorcycles.
