Oh Mary, how I’m going to miss Bill. He was my buddy, my friend. I loved our chats at our volunteer jobs at WNC Bridge (formerly CarePartners). A lot of times while there I would make a special trip to find Bill just to “catch up”. I’ll be holding you and your family in my thoughts and prayers during this sad, terribly hard time and in the future.
Love you, Judy

Mary– of the William and Mary partnership – for many years. My deepest sympathies. Bill and I had some nice conversations over the years of our volunteering at the Hospice Thrift Store – I am still checking out the watches for Bonnie. In fact today – Dorothy and I are having lunch with Mary Ann and Ray McMinn – who — as I recall – you worked with Mary Ann – back in the day.
Again – my deepest condolences.
Ron Schmis

Mary, I just learned of Bill’s death today. I am so sorry. Bills mom was married to my uncle Avery and I loved him and a cousin. He was always such a sweet fellow. I send love and prayers your way.
I am heartbroken to be just now finding out this information about my good Christian friend. I wondered why Bill had not been on my Facebook page for a while. We corresponded on a regular basis. We served in the choir at Biltmore Baptist Church together for years. He always wore a smile on his face every time I saw him. I did not know but the extra things he did in live parallel my beloved grandfather Bill was faithful at everything he did, which was a myriad of things in his lifetime. He adored Mary his wife who was in choir with us. He also adored everyone in his family, all his many friends and even a stranger. He lived a brilliant life and is enjoying his reward with our Lord Jesus Christ. He loved the Lord and God was always first in his life. I am deeply sadden to know my friend has passed away. I am very excited for Bill to be eternally sealed in heaven above. I look forward to the day I walk into heaven and see this man again. It will be a great reunion. Until then Bill, love and say hello to Jesus for me! 🙂
Rest in peace cousin Bill
