William Larry Lands

William Larry Lands, 67, died Saturday, September 30, 2023.

Larry was the son of Lucille McCarson and the late Bill Lands.

He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. And Mrs. William Lands and Mr. and Mrs. W.H. Baity, and his brother, Garry Lee Lands.

Larry had worked at Ball Brothers and also at McCarson Appliance.

He is survived by his mother, Lucille McCarson of Asheville; his brother, Terry Lands; his son, Chance Lands and wife Shelby; plus 3 grandsons and 1 granddaughter.

He is also survived by his uncle and aunt, Bill and Carolyn Baity and aunt Linda Henderson, and lots of cousins.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue.

Private services will be held at a later date.
