Celia, I was heart broken when I heard the news about Bill yesterday.I always found him to be such a nice and sweet man. I will miss him..he is now a Mighty Angel in God’s Kingdom looking down on us. Keep him in your heart and he will always be with you. May God give you peace and comfort.
Celia, William & Brenda,
I was very saddened to hear of Bill’s passing. What a wonderful man – always so kind and ready with a smile. I will miss him. My prayer is that God will give each of you strength and comfort and peace knowing that he is with his Heavenly Father now. He will live in your hearts and memories forever.
Love in Christ, Nancy & Meghan Nickel
Celia, I am so sorry for your loss. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time.
Willie’s Family, Willie was 1 year behind me at LEHS but did work with me at the old Recreation Park during those years. I remember his father was on the NC State Highway Patrol and Willie always had that big grin on his face. In life we are never ready to lose our loved ones and our only comfort comes from a real Faith in the Sovereignty of God and the manifested concern of caring friends. We are thinking of you and will hold you in our prayers. Joe and Zunita Clark
The gates of heaven opened wide for Bill. What a great inspiration in my life as well as my kids. He will always be loved and never forgotten.

Love, sympathy and prayers, Toka

THIS IS SUCH A SAD TIME FOR ME AS WILLIE AND I WERE CLOSE BUT STILL SPREAD APPART BECAUSE OF WHERE WE LIVED. IT WAS ALWAYS SO GOOD TO SEE HIM AND HIS ALWAYS SMILE AND HEAR HIM SAY ‘ERRRRR’. LIKE SO MANY OF THE OLD KENILWORTH GANG HE HAS GONE ON AHEAD OF SOME OF US AND I WILL BE LOOKING FORWARD WHEN MY TIME COMES TO SEE HIM AGAIN. YOU HAVE A HARD ROW TO HOE BUT IF THERESA OR MYSELF CAN DO ANYTHING TO MAKE IT EASIER PLEASE JUST GIVE US A SHOUT. JUST REMEMBER, ALL THAT KNEW WILLIE LOVED HIM AS I DID. AK

Bill (Pop as we knew him) was a wonderful, kind man. When he smiled, his eyes twinkled. He loved to tease and always made you feel welcome. We are grateful to have known him.
