William Stephen Israel, 72, of Leicester, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2024.

Born May 21, 1952 in Buncombe Co., William was a son of the late LeRoy Julian Israel and Louise Young Israel.

Surviving is his wife, Marion Livengood Israel; sisters, Carol Garrison (Tom) and Jane Penland (Terry); a brother, Jeff Israel (Brenda); and his lifelong best friend, Ted Wells (Linda).

Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
