William Stewart Towe, 82, of Asheville, died at his home on Friday, October 31, 2014.
A native of Asheville, he was a son of the late Audrey Tow.
Mr. Towe was the owner and operator of the Haywood Road '66 Service Station.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Digges Towe; a daughter, Becky McKinney and husband Leon; grandchildren, Billy McKinney and Lee McKinney and wife, Ashley; great-grandsons, Brennan and Colby McKinney; great-granddaughter, Haley McInnis; and a sister, Juanita Clark.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with the Rev. Steve Brockwell officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.
Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave. is assisting the family.
