William Talbert Flynn

William Talbert Flynn, 87, of Fairview, passed away Friday, October 8, 2021 at the CarePartners Solace Center.

A native of Henderson Co., he was a son of the late Gene and Agnes Freeman Flynn. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Helen Whitaker Flynn, and his son, Bill Flynn.

Mr. Flynn was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He retired as the head custodian for Reynolds Middle School.

Surviving are his daughter, Gail Keever (Tony); sons, Gary Flynn and Carson Flynn (Denise); 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Mary McAvoy (James); and brother, Tommy Flynn (Linda).

Graveside services with military honors will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 11 at Sharon United Methodist Church Cemetery, with Rev. James Smith officiating.
