Willie B. Lively

A native of Henderson County, he was the son of the late Henry and Letha Hart Lively. Rev. Lively was an Army veteran of W.W. II, a minister and a retired auto mechanic.

He is survived by his wife, Rev. Geneva Anna Puckridge Lively; one son, David Lively of Fairview and two sisters, Ruth Edgell of Henderson County and Ottobelle Dill of Daytona Beach, Fla.

Services will be held at 2 pm Tuesday in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian conducted by the Rev. Steve Brockwell. Interment will be in Sky View Memorial Park.

Rev. Lively’s family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 pm Monday at the funeral home.
