Wilmoth Maynard Snyder passed away peacefully at the age of 93 on November 4 in Asheville NC.
Wil was the son of Charles and Mary Snyder of Levels WV. He served in the US Army from 1952 to 1955 and was honorably discharged. Wil was married to Dolene Pownell Snyder from 1955 until her death in 1993. He retired in 1995 after a long career in accounting.
Wilmoth is survived by Mary Snyder, his wife of 26 years, brother Dean Snyder of Fredericksburg VA, daughter Donna Snyder of Asheville, and son Doug Snyder (Lisa) of Greenville SC. He is also survived by step daughter Nellie Fleming (David) and their daughter Esther of Asheville.
