Wilsie McFee Elkins

Wilsie McFee Elkins, 82, of 81 Bear Farm Road, Candler, died Tuesday, April 13, 1999, at the Hospice Solace Center.
Mrs. Elkins was born in Buncombe County and was a daughter of the late Ervin and Lillie Israel McFee.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Edwin Elkins; three daughters, Lottie Smith and Margaret Taylor of Candler and Frances Lance of Skyland; a sister, Ruth Jackson of Candler; four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Friday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Revs. Ed Worley and Jim Durham officiating. Burial will be at Brown's View United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Her family will receive friends from 7-8:30pm Thursday at the funeral home and at other times will be at the home of Jerrie McDevitt, 82 Bear Farm Road, Candler.
