Wilson Orville VanDyke
January 17, 1915 ~ April 8, 2002

A native of Independence, Missouri, he was a son of the late David Wilson and Mabel Acre VanDyke and husband of the late Katherine Stump VanDyke who died in 1986. He was also preceded in death by a son, Charles Everett VanDyke.
Mr. VanDyke was an accountant with Union Carbide for thirty-eight years and was a member of the Union Carbide Retirees Club. He spent most of his life in Hammond, Indiana and Leesburg, Florida and was an active member of Morrison United Methodist Church in Leesburg. At the time of his death, he was a member of the Skyland United Methodist Church.
Surviving are two sons, John David VanDyke of Asheville and Orville Eugene VanDyke of Wisconsin and seven grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2 pm Sunday in the Thomas Coke Chapel at Givens Estates.
