Guestbook

  1. What a sweet man. We met Woody and his children, who were so faithful to their dad, at the Baptist Home. We watched his health deteriorate and prayed for his children. We know Woody isn’t hurting and is with his Heavenly Father.
    We will miss seeing him.

  2. Sweet Woody…. He was a kind, generous, man who loved life. He will be greatly missed. Love you guys,
    Suzie Brady

  3. Was a great husband, dad, grandpa, and a great second dad to a lot of us. Surely will be missed. I love y’all very much.

  4. We were delighted to have Woody in our lives, he was a kind, gentle and loyal man who will be missed.
    Jeff and Barbara Gould

  5. He was always so good to me. From the time I met him until the end. I love you pop and always will. Rest in peace and tell mom I said hello.

  6. I met Woody back in the early 80’s and have always thought of him as a kind loving family man who was always made me feel welcome in your home. You will be greatly missed.

  7. Woody and Suzi were always there for from when Nikki and I were in school together and I’m blessed to have my sister Maggie become their daughter, made her the strong and most loving daughter and sister ❤️ Woody rest now you are at peace, Love your whole family and pray that they all get peace in their hearts 💕 I know they will miss you so much ❤️

  8. Sorry to hear of Woody passing, I knew Woody from working in the food business and always enjoyed talking with him. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

  9. Maggie and family, my prayers and condolences. May your father RIP.
God gained another angel. I know he will be watching over each of you. God Bless each of you.

  10. Dearest Uncle Woody… You were such a wonderful man and when I was little and didn’t have a Dad…you filled that role better than my actual stepfather ever could have. You filled my young life with as much love as you did my cousins, your own kids, both you and Aunt Suzie had such an impact on my life. When it was just me, Mom, and Meema you were the family I wanted so badly. I remember being jealous of all the kids you helped that came to live with you all…like Maggie. Now I’m older I get it but back then I didn’t because I wanted so badly to be a part of your family. All my love to Steve, Nikki, Michael, and Tammy… You were all so blessed to have Uncle Woody and Aunt Suzie as your parents!! Charlie Horse

  11. Such a very special man who radiated kindness and love with that amazing smile. Sending my thoughts, love and prayers to the family and all who were lucky enough to be touched by him. ❤️

  12. So many teenage memories at the Edwards home on Ridgelawn. He & Suzi always gave our little “ girl click group “ a place to hang out, a place to have multiple PJ parties, and a safe place where love was shown to all that came to their home, A knock on their door and they always invited you in and made you feel at home. They were such a beautiful couple inside and out. Maggie & her siblings could not have hand-picked better parents. With a house full of their children, all the children’s friends & the chaos of raising a large family they always took time to listen & offer advice.
Prayers for each of you, Maggie, Tammy, Nikki, Steve & Michael. Your Dad has now moved on to join your Mom in a place that God prepared.
Go rest high in that mountain Woody!
    ❤️Joyce
