Zinnia Searcy Bryant passed away on January 7, 2022 at the Asheville Specialty Hospital at the age of 71. Zinnia was born August 18, 1950 in Edneyville, NC. She was preceded in death by her parents Richard and Myrtle Searcy, husband John D. Bryant and daughter Donna Butler.

She is survived by one son John Bryant of Asheville, NC and one daughter Kelly Searcy Entas (Nick Entas) of Huntersville, NC. She leaves four grandchildren Isaiah Bryant, Elizabeth Faye and Katherine and Nicholas Entas. She is also survived by two brothers; Rufus and Shiskey Searcy of Asheville, NC.

Zinnia made her occupation as a homemaker; she shuttled numerous kids to all the events for years but most importantly helped take care of her mother for so many years as she was ailing in health. She missed her Mama immensely after she passed in 2020 and now, they are reunited along with her faithful husband John and first daughter Donna.

The family will have a small celebration of her life in the coming weeks to place Zinnia’s ashes in their final resting place next to her Mama and husband.

In lieu of flowers, consider a contribution in her memory to a medical fund to help close out her expenses from a long stay in the hospital. https://givesendgo.com/zinniabryant
